This first 2025 Lunch Party held at the Lamberts was to bring everyone together to have a good time celebrating FOFA and OEFS partnership together with all the valuable FOFA volunteers and family/friends.
First up is the important dish called loe sang which is a toss up salad prepared by Lillie Giang.

Food brings people together... music does the same and let's not forget fun! The sun was pelting down but nothing was going to stop the "mother and son" duo lion dance performance under the “skin” of the lion which I believe is made from a double layered lined wool material.
I feel so hot already just doing nothing standing in the shade of the mulberry tree…. let alone watch them keep us entertained moving around non stop in the heat! Truly commendable and an awesome performance.
They were such an awesome pair in sync. Great co-ordination...entertaining and performed like professionals eventhough it was in the backyard!!!
Mannie our own "Tina Turner" was entertaining us throughout the day and some volunteers took to the mic too to have some fun and show off their vocal talent.
After the lion dance we started with the salad toss and then adjourned back indoors to start on the mains and dessert. We were spoilt by the choice of food available so lovingly prepared by our volunteers and everyone dug in and enjoyed the feast! Some had food coma and some just rolled out of the front door when it was time to leave when the lunch came to an end.

It was a fun filled day with the surprise lion dance and with FOFA there is always plenty of yummy food. We had music .. gifts of tumblers by the Lamberts … acknowledgment of the joint forces (FOFA n OEFS) .. food to take home … panic buttons made by Marikye! Best of all, it was wonderful everyone took time to attend this party and we made more new memories together today!
Thank you Lamberts for hosting all of us and we look forward to working and partying with you into the foreseeable future.
