Cataract RT Eye Operation

Finally, I had my right eye cataract done on the right eye.

It was not as scarry as I had anticipated.  The waiting took longer than the operation itself.

One week no hair wash to keep eye dry and eye drops 4 times a day for a month.

I had an eye patch which I had to wear every night before bedtime.

When the eye patch came off the next day, it was so lightning bright.  Too glary and shades were necessary!

Anyways, it has been a month and I still feel llikethere is a thin membrane iirritationin front of my eye which I hope will go away with time!?!

Can I see better?  That is the money question.  Only time can tell, but for now I am not getting my left eye done unless absolutely necessary!

LG at International Womens Day March Forward

Last evening, I attended the above meeting held by the Knox Council to honour women in business.

A few friends turned up to support LG n before the "show" started and were treated to a delightful feast of finger foods/snacks provided by the Council which was a very nice touch!

The Mayor opened the event and welcomed everyone.  Every speaker had their own story to tell.. it was how they all struggled before they achieved success!  

Every woman can succeed if we set our minds to achieving our goals.

Very inspiring and motivational evening spent being amongst "power" ladies from various different background businesses.  Learning and marching forward is the motto!
