1st Beach Day of 2024 with my Girlies

 Sunday 4th February 2024 — 36c

Perfect weather for the beach n Simona wanted me to follow them… “popoh can you come with us to the beach?? You haven’t been coming with us?!?!”  What else could I say so I tagged along.

So we headed towards Edithvale but parking was hard to find but managed to get a spot away from our usual hangout.  It was good as it’s not as crowded and after the girls had enough we went to Lola’s for light lunch.

Came home, showered up and went to have a nanny nap as I was zapped by the sun!!!

It was lovely to have spent the time with my girls on the beach watching them enjoying themselves. I always love being close to water, so it was a win win for all of us!

Eva started Grade One & Etc

Tuesday 30th January 2024 … Eva started Grade One today!

Eva reads very well now.  She loves drawing and diligently works on her workbooks at home.  So far Eva has achieved a few recognitions in her early learning days.

We have been informed today that Eva has been selected as “Student of the Week” and will be receiving her certificate tomorrow 1/3/2024 at Assembly.  BTW Eva received one when she was a Preppy too:) :)

I also bought Eva a digital piano as she started music lessons in school recently.  Hopefully Eva will outshine her mom and my desire to have a Pianist in the family will be achieved!

Eva also recommenced her swimming lessons and is way more confident in the water this time round.

Another lst attempt for Eva is for ice skating held for her best friend, Hanna’s birthday.  She was amazing and shortly after using the penguin she was on her skates moving around independently and Eva throughly enjoyed her time on the ice!

CNY - Dragon Year Feb 2024

It’s just another CNY and we had a family reunion dinner here in Cezanne and I cooked up a mini feast … yes another last minute do or die cook up as my conscience was guilt tripping me!!!

Jiew Hoo Char

I was craving Jiew Hoo Char so I thought I might as well do the family justice and keep tradition going till I am not able to do so!

All up 8 of us and we had food left over for the next 3 days!  Chinese New Year lasts for 15 days and so on Chap Goh Meh we had “toss salad” aka loe sang again to end the festivities.
