HAllOWEEN 2023

Halloween 2023 today 31/10 was a last minute stay at home “Simona Activity” which turned out to be a blast for Eva n Simona.  Actually, in all honesty WE all had a good time together just mucking around and being silly together!!! The girls were just being kids and afterall it’s Halloween!!!

Simona is the “daily” dress up queen in this household.  Obviously, it’s HAllOWEEN so all the more reason my girls got dressed up… but all 3 decided to be WITCHES today!!

Both of us spent the morning decorating the couch area in the lounge with our cobwebs/spiders etc and with whatever little ornaments we had on hand … it turned out to be quite a good “spooky” display of our combined efforts!!!

Eva came back from school and decided she will be a witch too!! So let da fun/games begin….

“Eyeballs” hunting was a hit! I had my fair share of these chocolates and they were “nasty” but yummy!!  The girls got stuck into their “mummified gingerbread” and we just created our own Halloween fun indoors and did not bother to trick or treat out on the streets!

Eva’s lst School Performance

10th October 2023

Big day for Eva!  First school performance and it was a sold out/full house event!!!

It was a good nite out being entertained by kids.  All of them did a great job. Scenes from Under The Sea… Moana… to name a few and others but it is obviously a Disney Themed Show.

Not many photos to show for it but we are getting the CD when it’s available for purchase.  These screen shot pixs are not of good quality… but better than none!  Eva is in an orange outfit between the 2 yellows!

 

 

Eva was our star!!!  Well done Eva, we all throughly enjoyed the performance.

Drive up was magical as it was a very foggy misty day.  It was wet and drizzling all the days we were there apart from a small break of sunshine now and again that disappeared after 5minutes!!!

We just chilled… kids enjoyed Lola… Fred and I was busy in front of fireplace keeping the fire alive 24/7!!!  We all did our own thing and just amused ourselves. 

Apart from our feathered bird friends visiting throughout the day it was just greenery everywhere you see n fresh air!!!  No neighbours!!! Just lots of Rosellas and Cockatoos visiting all day long and non stop sounds of birds galore chirping away which was music to our ears!!!

The home was very comfortable and we had so much space inside and outside but did not get to enjoy outside much bcos of the wet weather.  

Ray managed to bbq some sausages for breakfast under the alfresco undercover area and I did not get to light up the “big boy” fire pit!!!

Would highly recommend this home for anyone wishing to have some down time in comfort and surrounds of nature.  So relaxing from everything but yet still close by to restaurants and shops.  Better weather next time!?!
