Eva’s Term 2 PAK Holiday Fun (Sept 2023)

Eva always have a busy holiday program organised by Becky.  Lots of fun activities and playing catch ups with all her other friends that she does not see from school.

PLAYDATE WITH CHLOE N AVA

We have been trying to catch up every school holidays and luckily Janie has been kind enough to make sure this happens!!!  We have met twice now at Crocs in Knoxfield.

BIG GOOSE/RYE PIER

We went to Rye Pier to commemorate my mom and the girls also managed to have a little beach time to themselves.

We travelled down to Mornington Peninsula for this and the girls throughly enjoyed the reptile show at Big Goose!

TULIP FESTIVAL/KILLESTA TEA ROMS

The girls enjoyed the Tulip Farm too esp the Fairy that was prancing around da grounds.  Cannot imagine we queued for sooooo long in da hot steamy sun so they could get their faces painted!!  Just as well the artists did a good job on them and they were so thrilled with their unicorn faces!

Afterwards we went to Killesta Tea Rooms for late lunch n I fell over on da steps! Ouch!!  The cockatoos were a sight to behold and it was a good day but tiring on top of bad hayfever!

MELBOURNE SHOW FLEMINGTON

First time taking the girls to the Melbourne Show and which kid does not like the Melbourne Show!?!  Rides galore.. expensive snack type foods.. every kind of show bags and a huge crowd…all the tell tale signs of a successful event!  

I was disappointed because it was not like the old days where you can see speciality fancy cake exhibits showcased by the best of home bakers etc 

Never mind… there was plenty enough to do but after 5 hours… we all had enough and was happy to go home!!!

Nearly forgot to mention that Eva nearly got mauled by the famished goats who robbed Eva of her cup of feed!!!  It was “dangerous business” feeding the goats!!!

At the carnival games namely the Clown Ping Pong ball game, they both managed to a mermaid each!!! Only elcheapos but it put a smile on their little faces.  That is all that counts!!!

There might have been other school holiday activities that I have not mentioned, but I was pooped after all that I have mentioned!  To this end, I think I need a holiday to get over the proper school holiday activities!!!
